September 2010 Philippine Bar Exam Results

The Philippine Supreme Court (SC) has announced that it will release today, March 17, 2011, the highly anticipated result of the bar examination held on September 2010. A total of 4,847 law aspirants successfully took the 2010 exam conducted at the De La Salle University in Manila.


The Philippine Supreme Court announced that a total of 982 out of 4,847 hopefuls passed the September 2010 bar examination.

This year’s passing percentage of 20.26 percent is relatively lower compare to last year’s 24.58 percent (1,451 out of 5,903).

The list of 2010 bar exam topnotchers is controled by Ateneo schools taking the first, second, and fifth spots going to Ateneo de Manila University and the fourth to Ateneo de Davao.

Deputy Clerk of Court and Bar Confidant Atty. Ma. Cristina B. Layusa administered the 2010 bar examination.

Earlier this morning, Renato C. Corona, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, has called for a special En Banc session for the decoding and releasing of the bar exam results, which is expected to happen this afternoon.
